Nina & Valentin began with a simple wish: to show someone how much they mean to us, even when we cannot give them a gift in person.
Today, we create fresh bouquets and floral arrangements and select gifts with care. We prepare every order thoughtfully and arrange timely delivery, including express delivery within two hours in Ljubljana and same-day or next-working-day delivery in Slovenia.
It began with flowers for my mother
One day, I wanted to surprise my mother, who was living abroad at the time. I could not give her a gift in person, so I sent her a bouquet through an online florist.
Her joy at receiving the flowers showed me how much a bouquet can mean. It is a way to tell someone you are thinking of them, even when you are miles apart.
That moment sparked the idea for an online flower shop that would make it easy to send flowers or a gift to someone special. And so the story of Nina & Valentin began in 2010.
I started without much capital or a team, but with a clear idea and plenty of determination. For the first six years, I developed the online shop alongside my day job and raising my son. Late at night, I wrote product descriptions, translated content, took photographs and worked on the marketing, gradually building the collection.
Back then, every product, every photograph and almost every word was my own work.

The online flower shop begins
Nina & Valentin began as an online flower shop, with the aim of making flower and gift delivery simple, personal and reliable.
Building the business after hours
The online shop grew alongside a day job, family life and many late evenings. Nina prepared the products, took the photographs, wrote the content and managed the online marketing herself.
From online shop to flower shop
After ten years online, Nina & Valentin opened a flower shop in Ljubljana, where visitors can explore the collection in person.

Today, you can order online, visit our flower shop on Celovška cesta or pick up a fresh bouquet at any time from the flower vending machine outside the shop.

You can choose a gift in minutes. Once your order is confirmed, we carefully prepare the bouquet or gift, check the details, add your message and arrange delivery to the recipient.
In Ljubljana, we also offer express delivery within two hours. Depending on the destination and the time you order, same-day delivery is available in Ljubljana, the surrounding area and selected larger towns and cities in Slovenia. Next-working-day delivery is available throughout Slovenia.
When needed, we contact the recipient to arrange delivery without revealing the surprise.
