Support for the Slovenian Hospice Association

At checkout, you have the option to donate 5%, 10%, or an amount of your choice to the Slovenian Hospice Association. The donation is voluntary and fully transparent, and its purpose is to support programs that help people in need regain dignity, support, and the feeling that they are not alone.
We are proud that, as an online flower shop, we also dedicate 15% of our annual profit each year to the Slovenian Hospice Association. This is part of our long-term commitment to social responsibility, compassion, and community support.
How your donation helps
Donation support enables the preservation and further development of the programs of the Slovenian Hospice Association, which operates through 12 committees throughout Slovenia and implements four key support programs:
Hospice – monitoring the dying and their relatives at home, where they provide holistic end-of-life support.
Grief support for adults, children and adolescents to help cope with the loss of a loved one.
The detaboo of death, which opens up a space for conversation about dying, death, mourning, and life.
Volunteering, which is at the heart of the Association’s operations and is based on the dedication of qualified volunteers.
To carry out all of its programs, the association must secure approximately 30% of its funding each year from donations and its own resources, which makes every contribution extremely valuable.
Concrete effects of your support
With your donation, you enable:
– more than 1,500 dying and their relatives a better quality of life and support in facing various hardships every year,
– more than 900 grieving adults, children and adolescents are assisted annually in processing their loss and reintegrating into everyday life,
– the implementation of the Lionheart Camp every year, which helps grieving children and adolescents to move forward safely and supportively,
– support and additional training of more than 200 volunteers, who together perform more than 22,000 volunteering hours per year,
– the implementation of more than 600 events and trainings annually aimed at changing the attitude towards dying, death, mourning and life in Slovenia.
